He instantly backtracked, but as you know initial statements usually have the most truth.
I’m not saying this disqualifies him in my book, but he would do himself a world of good by sponsoring some hard-nosed enforcement legislation.

Rubio and McCollum initially came out against the AZ law. They quickly revised their comments. Too late for McCollum. Rubio blocked AZ like laws when he was the FL House Leader. He is a decent guy but I would take West over him.
Remember folks, there is no “perfect” candidate but take this into consideration, Rubio would help with the latino vote. Also, he would be VP not president, so his decision making “power” would be very limited.
