We have not worked for two years to tinker around with this mess.We have not sent the Republicans to ‘Get something done’. We have sent them to get a whole bunch of things ‘undone’.

I believe that this word is deliberately chosen for its low impact–I believe that the lower-level Democratic voters, wink, wink, will not understand what it means and so therefore it is the least humiliating word with the lowest impact among his fans for admitting defeat, and that is why it was very carefully chosen for him and he is using it.

“shellacking.”

It’s his pride. He won’t admit that he’s wrong because it’s attached to so much large scale, long lived destruction when he won’t even take responsibility for his presidential seal falling off the podium.

“Some election nights are more fun than others” — Baraq Hussein 0bama
Why am I not surprised that this man sees the governing of our nation as a game?

It was the news conference version of a final exam essay - the BS essay that contains a gazillion rambling words that - by design - never answer the question. Typical. FAIL.

His arrogance is what did him in. He and his minions demeaned honest citizens from the first minute they had the gall to ask questions about his agenda. How dare they speak out against his brilliant course of action. He allowed Pelosi and Reid and their ilk to denigrate anyone who asked valid questions, calling them brown shirts and other vile names. Or trashing their personal life, like Joe the Plumber.

We were too stupid to be told what was in the Health Care Monstrosity, Pelosi said we’d find out after it was passed. The sheer gall of these people is unending, and hopefully this election is only the beginning of a thorough housecleaning in DC and elsewhere.

For me the first jaw-dropper of that press conference was when he said (paraphrase)”People mistook our spending more as if it were a policy decision and not just a temporary measure.” Oh, how stupid of us, to think spending nearly a trillion dollars was SPENDING!

He truly does think we’re morons, and if he just rephrases things and uses the Jedi mind trick, we’ll just believe anything he says.

And by the way, said the prez, let's not "spend the next two years re-fighting the political battles of the last two."

Interesting comment from someone who is still re-fighting the political battles of the last 10 years.

I actually listened to this press conference yesterday, usually I turn him off. I have to say, he really truly does make my skin crawl and I find him offensive.

He is not smart, he is not polished, he is not a great speaker, he is a freakin’ Spoiled little BRAT!

And I will say this, in EVERY speech from the Dems that won a tight race, NOT ONE showed any class or gratefulness. They are by and large the most RUDE people that I have ever witnessed in my 47 yrs! They disgust me as people, never mind their party...

Fanatical idealogues never listen to the people. In fact, they don’t listen to advisors, generals, organizations or any opposition. They end up in a bunker, popping handfuls of pills, moving imaginary divisions around a tabletop map. I hope the dog makes it out alive this time.
