How many days has this launch been delayed this week?

I completely forgot about the space shuttle. I thought it was all over. I’ll try and watch.

Happy to see, sad that this is the end.

It’s a huge mistake to end the shuttle program before we have a suitable replacement. Huge.

The weather is now a factor and may delay the launch.

I agree.
I swear, Odingleberry really is trying to destroy the country. Who thought we would see this in our lifetimes?

Wnding the space shuttle program before there is a useful alternative is a huge mistake.
You luddites can bitch all you want. We will someday need a way off this rock. Choosing ~not~ to explore space is about the stupidest thing a human being could do.

IMO,
the only useful thing the shuttle did was
take care of the Hubble space telescope.

I’m no Luddite and I’m glad that American manned spaceflight is coming to an end. Least bang for the most buck. Unmanned can do as much research that is needed/desired, and talk of populating space is for cranks. With the debt hole that this country is in, this can’t even be mentioned in the same sentence as “priority” until more pressing things are addressed.
