Good. It will lead directly to Barney Frank and Fannie Mae.

Hopefully he’s as savvy as I think he is.

That’s exactly what I was going to say. He’s saying all the right things as a “prosecutor” - but all criminal roads will lead to the Democrats.

Issa is a moron for that statement.

Your screenname is the guy who owned the estate, on which Magnum PI “Tom Selleck” series said he lived. Interesting.

Works for me. We got screwed in a “bipartisan way”, so let the chips fall where they may.

I take it you only read the headline? If so you missed the last paragraph:

“I’m hoping to bridge the multiple administrations in as many places as possible,” Issa pledged. “The enemy is the bureaucracy, not necessarily the current occupant of the White House.”

Yep. Issa will likely investigate how these loans were being made, and what attempts were made to stop them. We know that Bush (via McCain)introduced a bill to put limits on Fannie and Freddie, but the Dems didn't allow it to the floor.

I want Chris Dodd frogmarched out of a congressional hearing. Plus, if Bush did engage in illegal activities (which I don't believe for a second, so this is a hypothetical), then I would want that to come to light as well.

Unfortunately, I don’t think Bawney Frank can be brought before a congressional hearing now that he won re-election. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Right like Bush hasn’t been investigated enough. Honestly sounds like Issa sucking up to the loons over at MSNBC b/c he thinks it gives him MSM creds to mention investigating Bush. Sheesh. He doesn’t get it. Reminds me of one John McCain circa 2007.

IOW’s, he’s saying he’s going to investigate back to the point in time when Dems won the majority.

By all means, let the investigation begin.

Investigate the &%#$@*> so-called Czars. Who are they how much do they get paid? What is their budgets? Where is the accounting of the money spent?

And yes Fannie and Freddie, too.
