Don’t Stop Fighting
Dear Friends,
I’m writing to thank you for all of your hard work over the past year. This was a difficult election to be sure, but thanks to you we helped send Reps. Jim Moran and Bobby Scott back to Congress, it looks like Rep. Gerry Connolly will be headed back as well, and we put up a great fight on behalf of Rick Boucher, Tom Perriello, Glenn Nye and the rest of our congressional ticket.
Reps. Boucher, Perriello and Nye deserve our thanks for their honorable service to this Commonwealth. They did the best they could for the people of Virginia and thanks to their efforts thousands of people across Virginia are employed and better off. I am certain that this will not be the last we hear from any of these great Democrats.
I am disappointed after last night’s elections, and I know you are too. But I am not discouraged, and I am not going to stop fighting to make life better for every family across Virginia. We have a lot of work ahead of us if we want to build a Commonwealth where there are enough jobs to go around, where every child can get a world-class education in a public school and where people can get to work without spending two-hours a day in traffic.
Today is a day to reflect on the past year, but it’s also a day to look forward. Today is a day for Democrats to insist that Bob McDonnell, Ken Cuccinelli and Bill Bolling use the upcoming legislative session to advance an agenda that will create jobs, fix transportation and make life better for Virginia families. Today is a day to begin preparations for the 2011 legislative elections and, above all, to keep fighting for what we know is right for Virginia.
I’m not going to stop fighting for leaders and policies that benefit middle-class Virginia families, and I know you won’t either. Thank you again for your outstanding efforts on behalf of Virginia Democrats. I am looking forward to continuing the fight with you.

That sums up where the Democratic Party is in VA today.

We;ve still got a Dick Armey on our side, and they got a “Dickie” Cranwell ~ so, what can I say. Half their guys LOST ~ actually 2/3 of them LOST but they’re trying to steal Fimian’s win as we speak.
They will try and not succeed. Too many heavy GOP hitters are moving in. It is going to come down to absentee military ballots.
