A permanent dem state house, Jerry Moonbeam and Prop 25 = the perfect storm.

However............... Brown and the dem state house face a huge problem early next year. The late budget that Arnie signed a few weeks ago was based entirely on smoke & mirrors. It had rosy revenue estimates and included billions it HOPED would come from the feds, which we now know ain’t gonna happen. So, the state will go broke in mayby Feb or March and guess what?

We’ve had huge budget deficits for a few years now and all the easy cuts have been made. Brown will be faced with having to choose impossibly hard cuts.

My old home state has now become an object lesson for the rest of the country on what to shun. With Proposition 25, the Rats and the unions will spend the state into oblivion and the rejection of Proposition 23 ensures the on-going destruction of the state’s economy at the hands of power-drunk ideologues.

California bucked the GOP tide but it has a dim future.

Well, it took Nixon to go to China. Maybe Moonbeam will surprise us, too. Something has to be done, else California is bankrupt. Maybe can get the Mexicans to annex the place.

Whom the gods would destroy, they give majority control of the California legislature.

Perhaps their first bills should be to outlaw the use of fire & brimstone by Heaven, and forbid the dead from becoming flesh eating zombies, unless they have union membership. For his part, Jerry Brown will make a regulation that all spaceships must get 30 parsecs to the gallon of dilithium.

time to shut the spiggot and just let them go bankrupt, like NY did in the 70’s - time for them to go again too!!!!

In the short term it might help since with Moonbeam there and eliminating the 2/3s requirement for voting, there is nothing to stop the Donkeys from raising taxes as much as they want.

We'll have to see just how real he is about "this stage of his life" claim.

This just means the state will soon be bankrupt and all those pensions will be worthless.

Sorry, but Mississippi can no longer be considered the “dumbest” state in the Union.
Cali and Nevada share that distinction.
(all apologies to the decent Freepers currently being held prisoner in those states)..
