Carl Pope, Executive Director of the Sierra Club, wrote in January 2010 on the Huffington Post that President Barack Obama was “The Greenest President Ever“.

Has the $400 million figure been verified or is that just a number made up from wholecloth?
I would like a verifiable number because I’m sure it’s staggering.
An effective campaign commercial for 2012 would be the scene from “300” where Xerxes approaches Leonidas on his mobile throne. The narration is “while America suffered from 10% unemployment and our economy stagnated, Barack 0bama travelled abroad. His personal vacation cost you $400,000,000.00.”
Cue the narration so the last line is delivered while Xerxes steps on the backs of his slaves while descending the throne.

What I want to know is, what is so darned important that he has to spend 200 million dollars a day on this vacation in the middle of the worst recession we’ve had since the 70’s? I mean come on, 40 planes, 800 people to go to India?for what?

Based on what we know of Obama’s managerial experience, I’d have to agree.
At $200 million/day for 10 days Bambi could give each and every man, woman and child in America a check for nearly $70.
