House Majority Leader is not the same as Speaker.

Thanks. So he wants to be Leader and Boehner Speaker? I did not know they were two separate positions. Man I have been here five years and learned a TON from you guys, but it seems like I am still struggling in certain areas. Thank you for your information.

Like...nancy pelosi is Speaker
She will be replaced by Boehner
Cantor is backing Boehner for Speaker.
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer
will be replaced by?
