Illegal immigration is a law and order problem. Most of us on the right want our laws enforced. The lefties see it a bit differently, worrying first about how they can use Mexicans to stuff the ballot boxes, and second (if at all) about border integrity.

As for legal immigration—the countries we should favor would be those with people who have something to offer to America. We need more scientists, doctors, engineers and entrepreneurs. We don’t need any more landscapers, roofers, fruit pickers or bus boys.

Totally agree - I'd be in favor of a DREAM Act that grants citizenship to those that PAID for their college education. But don't ask me or my kids to PAY for heir college education.
