The results were a complete surprise. I will have better data later today but I understand for the state house no incumbent Republican lost, 16 Democrat incumbents losts and 6 open seats were won by Republicans.
In one night Maine turned from a very blue state to purple or even light red.
ummm - we won Gov. house and senate, our 2 senators are republican - only the 2 congressmen are dems. How red do you have to be to be called red?
