There will be a recount in that one also.

But think about this, right now there are 19 Republicans in the California delegation.

The Republicans have the majority by 21 votes.

That means if they come and ask for the money. They will have to allow all 19 of the Rep to vote for it, and everyone else to vote against it. So that these Republicans will have cover for their re-election.

We have just barely enough votes to pull this off.

Most “Green Jobs” will be in China (e.g., manufacturing the wind turbines & electric-car batteries).

With competitive elections, there would be many more Republicans elected from California.

We can only hope the CAGOP takes full advantage of the new political environment.

We can win districts in CA, it’s the state wide races that are a problem with all the idiot voters in LA and SF.

I see Dem Harris has pulled ahead for AG and might edge out the one Republican who might've landed a statewide office.

With so many gains across the board for Republicans at a variety of levels across the nation, how did CA end up losing effectively every office by about 10 points?

Uninspiring/flawed candidates on both sides of the aisle. Turnout was < 50%. The union vote showed up.
