Is there an intelligence quota you failed to meet?

I think that her influence is more important than a position.

I’ve liked Palin from the moment I first saw and heard her at the Republican convention in 2008. I read her book. I’ll read her next one. But she will not get my support for a presidential run for one reason: she and her family do not deserve what her critics will dish out if she runs. I think Palin is more effective as a king maker. I predict she will nominate the next POTUS.

Two years ago, pre-Tea Party, the Left got away with trashing Sarah because her own party refused to come to her defense. Now, when liberal friends and cohorts hear anyone saying they respect her, they just roll their eyes as if we couldn't be more stupid! That is their strategy - make us feel inferior because we are stupid enough to like her. They were very successful in their efforts to undermine and demonize GWB. Sometimes I was afraid to speak up in his defense for fear that there might be repercussions. Yes, they had me cowering! Now, they are trying to do the same thing with every conservative candidate that comes down the track. Well, IT ISN'T GOING TO WORK ANY MORE! We have found our collective voice and you can no longer intimidate us into thinking something is wrong with supporting our candidates. For Pete's sake, your candidates certainly aren't upstanding examples of righteousness: Barney Frank, Al Franken, Alan Grayson, etc.

I’ve been a Palin supporter and still send her money regularly. However, I listened to a snippet of her as she came on Fox last night and was not impressed. Too much excitement, too many words too fast, all seemed shallow and repetitive. I had a tough time listening to her, because I want her to succeed. I admit that the venue was a really tough one, though. I hope she projects more substance in the future. Live TV is pretty tough, I guess.

She was asked to comment on the election. It was her excitement that I liked so much. She just has this glow about her.

Even Geraldine Ferraro was respectful to her.

It's a strong temptation to want her to be so articulate every moment of every day that she's bullet proof ... just so impressive that even the far left will sing her praises. Well... that's not going to happen. It's important to remember that her goal right now is to be liked. To get people to be comfortable with her.

What's your reaction when someone attacks a person you like? If the moderates begin to like her...and the left attacks...the moderates will defend her.

Her goal isn't to set policy or to deliver the greatest speeches of all time... her goal is just to get people comfortable with her. To like her.

She's doing a heck of a good job at accomplishing her goal. I swear that smile of hers is infectious.

The far left already know this...she scares them to death. I read their forums. They are scared of Sarah Palin on a lot of different levels.

I think if she keeps this kind of exposure up for two more years, she's totally electable.

All you liberals have the same speak - you’re boring but predictable!
