I believe that recounts can only be demanded if the vote is extremely close. That is the way it is in most places. The only thing that can happen here is for those who broke the law in vote buying/manipulation/ be prosecuted. The union activities in running the machines, must also be made illegal.
All across this country the mechanisms that are in place that make vote fraud so easy to commit need to be eliminated. Even the voter registration lists need to be purged and started from scratch with proof of citizenship required to be registered. The voting process in this country should be impeccably honest and reliable. If the republicans are worth anything then they need to set upon this task.
