Exactly. I’m sorry that Tom Tacredo lost, but he ran a hell of a campaign. I’ve been in a similar situation as Maes, but I took the other road, packed my tent up and volunteered for the other conservative. As a result the communists lost. Was I disappointed? Hell yes. Would I have loved to run out the string and prove people wrong? Sure.
It’s a tough pill to swallow, but in the end it’s all about the choice. What do I care if I get waxed by fricking Tom Tancredo? He’s a hell of a candidate and a hell of a representative. Can’t let ego get in the way.

The man is a good guy. He has been maligned by the left and some on the right, but he’s a decent person, and I think our state would have been better off had he been the governor. Oh well, all we can do is push on :)
