Besides Jim DeMint it's not looking good in SC with Early Results...
5th Congressional District SC... Spratt is ahead 53% to 48%
SC Gov. Race...Shaheen is ahead 52% to 47%
Lead Narrowing....
SC Gov. Race Shaheen 51% to Haley 48% with 9% reporting
I read the lines were long at closing and could delay the results.
Less than 1% of the governor vote is in. Let’s not read too much into the current total.
When 90% of the precincts are reporting...then I’ll worry.
Very true...There was huge turnout today...So I’m going to keep my eye on the race...
Yes...They are saying that the ballots from the “Lowcountry” or the lower part of SC come in first....They tend to be heavier Democrat down that way......
My inlaws live in the low country and they bought the attack ads against Haley hook line and sinker. They usually vote Republican.
Often, the last states to report are the most Republican States in the upstate. Wait until later. Worry when 90%+ are in and Greenville, Spartanburg and the Midlands county of Lexington has reported....
Early results mean nothing.
DeMint wins this one. Count on it.
Look like the D precincts are reporting early, all the D’s are leading in the toss up congressional districts
With 2% of precincts in, Haley is ahead 52-46%. Only heavily populated county that is Democratic is Richland County, where Columbia is. Charleston County is a swing county. If Haley wins or comes close in Charleston County, then she should win.
GO NIKKI GO!!! I hear that Mulvaney has bypassed Spartt as well in Congressional District 5.....
“My inlaws live in the low country and they bought the attack ads against Haley hook line and sinker. They usually vote Republican.”
I’ll never get how the low country, which so values tradition, values, and manners, votes for Rat scum. That said, there is a very large black population there, so that voting bloc is pretty much immutable.
Gov. Race Nikki Haley and Shaheen are at 50%/%50%....
The SC Gov. Race has been called...NIKKI HALEY is the next Gov. of SC!!
WOOT!
Mulvsney has beaten Spratt!!
