Jon Stewart raised a lot of eyebrows over the weekend when the Rally to Restore Sanity showcased Yusef Islam, a.k.a. Cat Stevens. Islam has over the years said a lot of radical things including a number of comments where he essentially endorsed the infamous fatwa against Booker-Prize-Winning novelist Salman Rushdie. Islam has since tried to backpedal, but its hard to disguise his radicalism. (Snip) I spoke to Jon Stewart about Yusuf Islams appearance. He said he was sorry it upset me, but really, it was plain that he was fine with it. Depressing.

As a Jew, Jon should realise that Cat (Joe Muslim? HAHA) calls FOR HIS DEATH TOO.
Jon can sing “Peace Train” as they saw his head off with a dull knife.
If you cut off John’s head he could still go on living a normal life. His brains are in his a$$ after all.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
And “Morning had Broken” as they break his bones.
Well you are with the enemy or with us!
But, you kow, now that I think about it, he only does that when a Republican or a Conservative says something he doesn't like.
Wally, you don't think Jon Stewart is a *&%&#*%@$,brain-dead, *&*#(#,!!$*(), hypocrite do ya?
I always had a feeling Cat Stevens’ music was fake, contrived, meaningless pop. He put none of his soul into it, and only recently revealed a true glimpse into his actual soul.
Try reading âThe Flight of Intellectualsâ. Granted the first 170 some pages are pretty dry but the last 30 or so are well worth the slow build up. It was more than worth my time to read a genuine lefty academic lambasting, well for lack of a better word, the left for hating their own Western Culture so much they support women hating/murdering/theocrats.
John Stewart supports a Fascist. Cat Stevens made a conscious decision to endorse the execution of a man over his free speech. This is all we need to know about Stewart. If you’ve had mixed feelings about this guy before, you shouldn’t now. I will never forget this about him. He’s now officially a dirtbag in my book.
