Great. That’s like saying Illinois would be Republican if it weren’t for Chicago. Can you do simple math? Twice as many rat votes come out of Milwaukee county then come out of Dane county.

Here’s the numbers for 04
Dane Kerry 181052 Bush 90369
Milw Kerry 297287 Bush 180287

If EVERY rat in Dane county dropped dead before voting, Milwaukee STILL delivered enough rat votes to overcome the Bush votes in Dane county.

Bush only lost Wisconsin by 11,000 votes to Kerry in 2004. He had 90,000 less votes than Kerry in Dane county. You do the math.

Kerry had 117000 more votes in Milwaukee then Bush. Last time I did math 117000 is greater then 90000. That extra 27000 votes is twice the margin of victory for Kerry. Get it? More votes. Bigger county. Bigger impact on statewide and national elections.

Milwaukee is adjacent to Waukesha and Washington counties which which pretty much offset Milwaukee county. My point was that if not for Dane County, despite Milwaukee, Wisconsin would be reliably red. Have a nice day.

Right. Despite Milwaukee’s having TWICE the impact on the vote, if Dane county didn’t exist Wisconsin would reliably vote Republican. Brilliant analysis. I think the RNC could use your stunning insights. Have a nice day.

"stunning insights"

Thank you for the compliment. I'll send an e-mail to the RNC with your recommendation. And I'll send you a copy of Norman Vincent Peale's "How To Win Friends And Influence People."

Not much else was left. You make a sweeping statement without any basis in reality. I refute it with hard statistics, you persist in repeating said banality. The fact, cold hard and inescapable is Milwaukee has at least twice the impact on the Rat side as Madison. Only liberals persist in fantasy because of their feelings and or because it fits their propaganda. Conservatives deal with facts and reality. Have a nice day.

What I stated, Wisconsin would be reliably red without Dane County, is irrefutable. That Milwaukee County is a larger Dem pocket is not pertinent to my statement. Have a nice day.

And Illinois would be reliably Republican without Chicago, New York without NYC, Ohio without Cleveland, Florida without Miami, etc etc etc.
Your point is pointless. Without Milwaukee it wouldn’t matter if every person in Dane county voted Rat, it has a smaller impact on the election.

My point is not pointless...it is the facts. You are apparently unable to acknowledge as much. Regardless of how much Milwaukee matters, Madison-Dane County is also a huge player...and growing.
