Coons Camp Expresses Turnout Worries
The Wall Street Journal ^ | 11-2-2010 | Neil King Jr

Most polls have predicted that the closely watched Delaware Senate race between Democrat Chris Coons and Republican tea-party favorite Christine O’Donnell was going to be anything but close. One poll last week had Mr. Coons up by 10 points, while all the others gave him a far more comfortable margin.

But Democrats in Delaware remain skittish.

Wouldn’t this just be delicious. My plans for tonight: a bowl a popcorn, FoxNews, and plans to laugh my ass off.

Let’s hope this is a bellwether for the Dems voting like castrated goats nationwide.

Sounds like he’s floating a couple of excuses early. Me like.

Yeah, I just heard Rush mention that. Looks like Coons may be setting up for recounts, lawsuits, etc.

In other news, officials in New Castle and Kent counties are baffled by a sudden and large explosion of grave robbing in concert with reports of “Zombie-Looking People” in wheelchairs being pushed into the voting precincts.

“These zombies are voting in large numbers for Democrats, but we’re sure the two incidents aren’t related”.

I hope the O’Donnell camp stays vigilant. These scum will stop at literally nothing - especially when desperate.

Just as the last poll that showed Christine ahead in the conservative counties.... she also polled better with GOP than McCain did in 2008. The story here is if she loses, this will be the GOP’s lack of support rather than the TEA party electing her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the article, Ms. O’Donnell drew heavy support from the state’s other two counties, Kent and Sussex. What is it with Kent, is it a Coon area or not?

That's certainly good news.

Coons is a deeply, deeply unexciting candidate who doesn't have anything remotely resembling a personal touch.

But that's what union leaders and "community organizers" are for: getting the rank and file to march to the polls no matter how lousy their candidate is.

If they aren't getting the turnout job done, this becomes very encouraging.
