Reports from Sussex are huge turnouts - passing 50% about 2 PM in at least two polling places.

Old die-hard Democrat leaving poll told known Republican friend -’We really have to stop what’s going on in Washington’ shook his head and walked to car...

Didn’t say it, but I would read that as a possible vote for Christine and Glen... We shall see...

My polling place at 10 AM was about twice as busy as it was in 2006 when I was there... But keep in mind, my polling place voted 225 Christine and 52 Castle in the primary. (in the interest of full disclosure).

Talked to a couple of New Castle voters - both said that it was pretty dead at their polls - low turnout.

Everything you’ve said points to good news for Christine. Those are the signs we’re looking for. Excellent turnout in Sussex, low turnout in New Castle, and Dems seemingly voting for Christine.

I’ve read a few of these articles “let’s talk to 4 or 8 voters” and those aren’t helpful. Even if they had to wait for hours, they’d talk to the Democrats they want for their story. Not to say that it would be all that hard, really, with the sheer numbers of people.
