Hume is on FOX now down playing the help that the tea party has given the GOP. He said that realistically the tea party can’t do anything because there aren’t enough (tea party)voters to force the issues.

I don’t want to hear a whole lot from the people who got us into this mess.

I guess Rove forgot that Ronald Reagan was once a “B” rated actor.

Let them say what they may, but the truth is: the Republican Party will become more & more conservative with each election because of Tea Party candidates running on the Republican ticket.

Boehner is not leadership material

True, but the advantage is that the racists won't be able to claim that the GOP doesn't have any person of 'color' in a leadership role ;-)

Brit Hume, Fox's elder statesman, conservative icon and sentimental sacred cow is now predicting ( even hours before election day ! ) that Obama will "move to the center" given a GOP onslaught.

Thanks, Brit (slapping cheek), we needed that!

There is NO evidence that supports this silly prediction whatsoever. Obama will contine his imperial reign through fiat, executive orders, recess appointments, ignoring the Constitution, endless propaganda delivered by the captive media....and through the Courts.

He can still get one or more Supreme Court appointments through if the Dims retain the Senate.

This is what Hume SHOULD have said in the waning hours before voting day, not the aforementioned claptrap....similar to a lot of what he's been giving out during the time he now sits for TV segments at the right hand of God (Bill O'Fence Sitter).

Hume, 67, is one of the ultimate D.C. elite insiders. His second wife is Kim Schiller, 49, Fox Vice-President and former Washington Bureau Chief. They reside in the DC environs. He is a self-described conservative and he may be one in private life. But it appears that in his "retirement" he's becoming more and more neutered with little cutting edge AT ALL.

Listening to his pontifications these days, you'll find his smooth, earnest delivery detracts from the simple fact that he's saying nothing much at all.

Hume finds a truffle once in a while like O'Reilly manages to do, but on the whole, he's playing it primarily safe now.....and, indeed, coming up with some really questionable statements like several posters here have already reported on above.

The truly likeable Hume should retire for real to his home study, smoking a pipe and wearing a tweed jacket with leather inserts on the elbows.

Beck could do a great imitation of him then.

Yes these 3 need to be swept aside and ignored. All 3 do not represent me.

” Steele has to be the first to go when we takeover. “

Don’t forget to broom Mitch McConnell too!
