The question is how can it be determined that 0bama has definitely abandoned the ‘Republicans sit in the back of the bus’ mindset. AFAIC, until he does, there will be little opportunity to work ‘cooperatively’ with him unless he can be convinced that his best interests lie in conforming to Republican objectives, and it’s reasonably clear how unlikely that will be in most cases.

Boehner already said he’ll get rid of these idiotic, useless czars..I would prefer to start with an in-your-face repeal of Obamacare. Dont care how many times Dumbo vetoes it, just stack a whole lotta passages at his desk.

Oversight??

Is this what they are talking about?

Stick to abuses of power and infractions of the law. Fishing expeditions cannot substitute for a legislative agenda to cut taxes, regulations, and spending.

We need to tread wisely. Whoever gets people back to work can own Congress for decades.

Remember that McCarthy actually set us back and helped communists continue to undermine our nation.

We need surgical strikes at Obama’s weak points. We need to move legislation that will stabilize the economic outlook from a political/legal standpoint that is particularly focused on:

1. Fighting and prosecuting financial fraud - jail and fines

2. Ending over-regulation of the economy.

3. Tax and regulatory stability for 5 years or more.

4. Focused investigations into Democrat corruption, but ones that will draw blood, not just more smoke.

First thing is to call the “non-partisan” CBO to testify how the Rats managed to fudge the numbers on the Obamacare Law.

" wave of oversight..."

Yeah...Sure...

If past is prologue...They'll be back to their spending ways of 2001 - 2006!

Just like 1994...Dept of Education is toast...NPR is toast...The "vile-art" organization is toast...

Yeah...Sure...

The Republicans need to avoid the appearance of witch-hunting. That will get them thrown back out faster than anything.

BUT, start issuing subpoenas on the Black Panther voter intimidation case right away. If that’s not a winner, I haven’t seen one...

Unlikely.

I’m not promising my vote to anyone just because unemployment falls. IF it falls. Certainly not giving it away for decades based on what one class did in the past.

If either party wants to remmain in control for longer then two years they’ll have to earn it each cycle.

Oh and I’m sorry that maybe this doesn’t make me partisan enough but hearing news about how they plan to investifate Obama doesn’t make me leap for joy. Yeah, he’s corrupt. Yes, he needs oversight. I am aware a lot of what we want he’ll VETO and this is something they can do. Doesn’t change out of all the reasons for them to win, this isn’t on my list.

I want Obamacare repealed and spending cut. Do those and I’ll be excited.

It is highly likely, if the current leadership is savvy and they seem to be. I think they’ve learned from Gingrich’s mistakes and from the last Republican take over.

They’re likely to be aggressive, but cautious. If they overreach then they give Obama and the Democrats a second life.

If they use caution and pick a strong path, holding the independents by virtue of job creation and stability which is what those wishy-washy saps want more than anything else, then they’ll hold the house through several cycles.

Conservatives won’t have to pour out in numbers every election. Incumbents are especially hard to unseat and with Republican majorities & governors in states redistricting will go our way as well.

What we’ll have to do is provide an ideologically sound basis for returning the country to its Constitutional roots. To do that you need to hold the mushy middle.

Eric Holder and Janet Neopolitan needs to the first ones in line with Obama not far behind. I don’t expect simple oversight I expect investigations into dereliction of duty.
