As I think you say, the personal attacks and language has gotten pretty bad.

Again as I think you say, the response should be in proportion. I would add that the counter-attack should be in good humor even if biting.

There are still limits. For example, if they go after your children, as some of the attacks do, you don’t go after their children. Keep the focus on them.

You are right, and i don,t think they should put some ones picture on there unless it is a top political figure that every one knows, for instance the one that was made the most of i had not even heard of her before, and i doubt if she can help her looks, of course if she asked for it thats fine, i don,t have tv so i am not up on every thing

but it reminds me of school days when a poor little girl was made fun of because she was in a family too poor to buy her clothes, my family was just as poor but i was a boy and that was different.
