My military friends have a favorite saying: "If you're not catching flak, you're not over the target." This campaign season, conservative women in politics have caught more flak than WWII Lancaster bombers over Berlin. Despite daily assaults from the Democratic machine, liberal media and Hollywood, the ladies of the right have maintained their dignity, grace and wit. Voters will remember in November.
When "comedian" and "The View" co-host Joy Behar lambasted GOP Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle this week as a "b-tch" who would be "going to hell" for using images of illegal-alien gang members in a campaign ad, Angle responded by sending a lovely bouquet of flowers and a good-humored note: "Joy, Raised $150,000 online yesterday. Thanks for your help. Sincerely, Sharron Angle."
Outgunned in the comedy department, Behar sputtered nonsensically and with bitter, clingy vulgarity: "I would like to point out that those flowers were picked by illegal immigrants and they're not voting for you, b-tch." Illegals aren't supposed to vote at all, Miss B. But why let such pesky details get in the way of a foul-mouthed daytime TV diatribe?
Just a week earlier, Behar delivered a hysterical rant against GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, accusing the mother of five and foster mother of 23 of being "against children" for opposing the expansion of federal health-care entitlements for middle-class families and children (the SCHIP program) and for opposing the costly Obama takeover of health care. Behar merely parrots the demagoguery of Democratic leaders in Washington, who have ducked behind kiddie human shields to avoid substantive debate about the dire consequences of their policies.

I hope she will have a chance to run again and to show whether she can or cannot handle the strains of high office. I hate that we will never see the unfettered Sarah! Fair or not, she is tainted by the garbage that was thrown at her. You simply cannot stand on a world stage and have tomatoes hurled at you and not look a little "diminished"! Even though she handled the slander (it was worse than slander) with dignity, the stains left their mark! They made her a joke when she didn't deserve it. They allowed liberals to despise her and made a lot of conservatives wonder about her. It is reverse political correctness at its worst and it really stinks!
A crude, rude, and socially unacceptable personality? Ignorance? Life in a lefty Manhattan cocoon? Lack of love?
How about being dumb enough to fall for every scrap of demagogic leftwing propaganda that comes her way?
Joy(less) is to simple-minded to make a good double agent.
I am STILL waiting for an explanation of why we needed a DeathCare progran when we already have SCHIP-RA and HIPAA.
Hello Washington, is anybody there? Can you hear me now?
BTW, I know the answer - we didn’t need DeathCare. I just want one of the elitist, would-be royalists to say it!
“Ok then come up with a better explanation!”
She’s just a moron.
We live in a top to bottom drug infested, hedonistic and Godless society and the treatment of Sarah Palin is very clear evidence of the cruelty and evil produced by years of degrading the Judeo-Christian values upon which this nation was founded. When I think about the stalking, the lies, and the pseudo assassination directed toward Sarah and her family, even to her tiny new child, I feel pure disgust and I pray for those who want to destroy any evidence of people who might be different than them, who might have a different point of view. I see it all as diabolical and it is a true miracle that Sarah has overcome, that she is happy and loved by so many and that she can smile and inspire our young girls in spite of the vitriol constantly spewed her way. This is character, this is faith, this is being salt and light to a dark and dying world. GO, SARAH, GO SHARRON ANGLE, GO MISCHELLE BACHMAN, GO CHRISTINE O'DONNELL, GO CARLIE FIORINA, GO MEG WHITMAN and all the other brave women who are trying to transmit a free nation to future generations. Please, Freepers..pray for these women who are courageous to go out to the front lines of this war to fight for all of us.
