This is a critical election in our nation's history. It is an election that could re-shuffle the leadership and power in not only Washington, D.C., but also across the entire country, including Michigan.
The 1st Congressional District is a true battleground in this power struggle, and how we vote could very well chart the course of the country for the next two years.
We believe Benishek best reflects our region's hopes and aspirations, and for that reason we urge readers to remember his name when voting Tuesday.

The comparison sums it up. The Dem from the Upper Peninsula is all about big spending and is certainly not concerned about keeping jobs or people in his district - he is more concerned with “fitting in” with the liberal crowd and likes to crow about the “needy” (this being Dem code for those who refuse to work and, therefore, don’t earn a paycheck.) McDowell would be better suited to the Detroit area than the hard-working, blue collar district that he wants to represent.
The endorsements are piling up for Dr Dan. Tuesday is going to be sweet.
