It could only serve as a reminder how weak the Democrats are on National defense. Expect more seats to swing our way.

Maybe, but I think Obama/Democrats poll far better on national security than they do on the economy. Actually, they might even be polling quite well on national security and terrorism.

The point is, ANYTHING that distracts the public's attention away from the horrible economy is a benefit to Obama/Democrats.

Republicans continue to be trusted more on national security issues and the war on terror, with 49% of voters trusting the GOP versus 39% who trust the Democrats more.

The economy continues to be the most important issue on voters’ minds this election, and 49% place their trust in Republicans to handle this issue. Thirty-nine percent (39%) trust Democrats more.
