Moreover, being a master political tactician

First. I want ODonnell to win. Second. I agree with 90% of Palinn's politics. But this notion above is just ridiculous an the ease of which we give people such credit, such traits is how people like Obama were considered more than ready to be POTUS/CinC.

Mrs. Palin has been a one term Governor (which she didn't even finish) and part of a losing Presidential bid. The notion that she is a "master" political tactician is just hyperbole. And not needed on our side.

And while I don't agree with plenty of Rove's comments of late, the notion that many on our side would consider Palin a better tactician or strategist than Rove shows me how emotion filled our side is....just like the left.

Thank you,I agree completely. We will win by strong convictions about our Conservative beliefs and not a bunch of raw emotion. Denco

Your constant anti-Palin trolling is tiresome enough, please don't start using the "CONCERN TROLL" act as well.

A good Republican tactician or strategist doesn't trash a Republican candidate after the Republican candidate wins the primary.

A good Republican tactician or strategist does rally support around that candidate.

Just like the left and Carl Rove, your emotions are effecting your point-of-view.

She’s as qualified as any who have held the position the last 20 years and would be a better president than any of them. She is a true conservative. That’s good enough for me!!!

Hmmmm, perhaps Rove is a better tactician or strategist but I have yet to see any congressional race where these talents are visibly helping a conservative candidate. Rove is resting on his laurels and protecting the establishment.

Something else to consider which many Palin critics seem to overlook, which tells me how shallow their knowledge of political dynamics is. Governor Palin can motivate and if anyone that has any political or just life experience knows, it is that motivation will trump tactics and strategies every time!!!

Palin is a “NATURAL”. She has God given talent in the political arena. She is the EXACT right person at the exact right time, doing a FANTASTIC job of electrifying the Conservative base. This can not be denied!

Is there a license required for “master political tactician”? A degree? An official appointment?

Sarah doesn't need a “title”. She is upsetting the “status quo” of politics as we knew it. The old “rules” don't apply anymore. They sure don't apply to Sarah Palin. Don't tell me what she can or can't do, what she is or isn't, just because she doesn't fit the political template of the past.

It's a new day in America, a Conservative day. We are taking our country back. Get on board or get out of the way.

Totally disagree. Let's take the "losing Presidential bid" which is totally inaccurate. Sarah was not involved into the campaign until she was selected by McCain to be the VP. During the general campaign, she had little control over the situation. The McCain people ran the campaign, wrote her stump speeches and told her where to go.

Yes, she did not finish her term as governor but she had far more important things to do. Had she not resigned, she would not have had the opportunity to boost the Tea Party and rejuvenate the Republican Party, which has put them in position for Tuesday's blowout.

"Moreover, being a master political tactician, she is going to see this "Gawker smear" as an opportunity and use it. You can count on her to twist the rhetorical knife in the Democrats, the Establishment and the hapless Coons for this vile smear just as she did in the Nikki Haley episode."

I took it in the context the writer gave it. There's no doubt Sarah's going to take tactical advantage of the smear against COD and twist the knife in the dems. No doubt at all.

And the writer gave context in comparing how Sarah handled the NH smear. And that was pretty masterful, IMO.

Regarding whether or not Sarah is a better tactician than Rove - arguing brings out emotion - so let's not argue and just stick with the facts -- Sarah endorsed Christine, Rove endorsed Castle (if you recall - when his guy lost, he showed extreme emotion).

Watch and learn, Grasshopper.

As far as political strategy, Rove and a whole lot of political hacks, left and RINO, have had their egos stomped upon by Palin over the past two years. And she hasn't had to resort to any dirty tricks -- just truth, justice, and the American way.

It was brilliant how Rove was able to get so many losses in 2006 with such a solid economy. A master tactician. </sarcasm>

She is a MASTER politician. If not for Sarah Palin the Republican party might right now be a smoldering pile of RINOs with a tea party trying to win 6 seats in the house.

Palin convinced all the disenfranchised republicans to stick it out, fight and she endorsed tea party candidates which gave the disenfranchised republicans a taste of victory in the primaries.

She has done more for this country in the past 2 years than anyone I can think of.

But you can look at Palin’s tactics, after the fact, and see the results have devastated her opponents.

He showed a heck of a lot of emotion and not real commentary on Hannity that first appearance after the win. So, I guess that makes us just human, like the rest out there!

There is no problem with emotion, as long as you do not use it to decide your vote. Emotion just might get you off the chair and at the voter’s tent.
