Despite Jon Stewart's apparent disappointment with President Obama's "timid" first two years in office, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Thursday that he thinks Obama's appearance on "The Daily Show" was a "success." But Stewart gave voice to disgruntled Democrats who question whether Obama has fought hard enough for their issues on matters like "Don't ask, don't tell" and the public health insurance option.

White House deems Obama's 'Daily Show' appearance a 'success' And they also claim Obama staved off a second Great Depression, and that the Obama Presidency in general has been a success. So...

But Stewart gave voice to disgruntled Democrats who question whether Obama has fought hard enough for their issues on matters like "Don't ask, don't tell" and the public health insurance option. This is proof, as if you needed any, that Jon Stewart is just not a serious person. You can criticize the Obama administration for a lot of things, but timidity is not one of them.
They spent Three Trillion Dollars, nationalized two auto companies, took over healthcare and kicked the stuffing out of the business sector. These actions were certainly wrong, but they were not timid.
Compared to Obamacare, Don't Ask/Don't Tell is almost ludicrously irrelevant. Obamacare will destroy one seventh of the US economy and profoundly effect every citizen. DA/DT will effect, at most, a handful of people who are in the military.
Jon Stewart is an idiot.

Timid??? He’s done more to destroy the country in shorter time than any other President...the only way he could get it done faster is to drop a nuke or two!

Well, only if they define “success” as
EPIC FAIL!!!
Wouldn’t be the first time the accomplices in the media cover for The Emperor with no clothes.
They live in Bizzaro World. Time for the elites to hear what most of America has been thinking the last 2 years.
I can hear the calls for “recounts!” already. After all, how can so many reject Zero?
