I get why Crist wanted the story out: voting for Meeks is a wasted vote.

But why does Meeks want the story out? According to reports, Meeks affirmed the story - makes no sense to me.

Meeks comported himself very well in the debates — with a lot more integrity than the orange flip-flopper.

The only thing I can think is that Meek might benefit from blacks being upset that the Clintons/White House were willing to throw him under the bs, and may get out to vote for him?

I’d love to know what ‘incentive’ he was offered to withdraw?
Reminiscent of PA with Sestak.

Zero is (semi) black. Bubba is not. If Bubba is trying to get Meek (who is black) to quit, then it can be viewed as an attack on blacks and an attempt to dis zero as well as Meek, which turns out the black vote, which helps Meek.
