Incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer still holds a small lead over Republican Carly Fiorina in Californias U.S. Senate race, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports survey of Likely Voters in the state.
Boxer, who is seeking a fourth six-year term, now earns 49% support to Fiorinas 46%. Two percent (2%) prefer another candidate, and three percent (3%) remain undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The race remains a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings as it has for weeks.

Hopefully, there will be bad weather on much of the California coast and good weather in Central California. This one is on the razor’s edge.
Here’s another race that could use your effectiveness.
High Republican turnout and low Rat turnout could easily swing this to Fiorina. What % D, R, and I did Ras use, I wonder?
I registered last week, got my ballot today, that’s one registered vote not counted in their survey.
It would be so, so sweet if Fiorina wins.
Ditto on Rossi over Murray.
Key is Boxer needs a strong turnout from L.A Country one election day to win since L.A lags % raise to the rest of the state in early voting. (25% early/75% election day, when the rest of the state is about 50-50).
There are several factors that are worrying dems.
1. No big L.A Dem nutcase to drive L.A turnout on the ballot, they all coming from the Bay area.
2. Steve Clooney is going to carry L.A Country in his race agaisnt Harris for D.A...
3. If the house is projected to be gone by 5:30 pst which it my be for the Dems they might not show up to vote.
4. Whitman ground campign, might not help her but can her Fiona.
