I barely knew Christine when she turned up at my door at around eight o'clock on the night of Halloween. We'd met for the first and only time three months earlier when my two roommates and I signed the lease on our apartment: Christine's aunt owned the place we were moving into, and she happened to be up from Delaware visiting at the time. But we'd only spent about five minutes together that day and we hadn't spoken much, and I hadn't thought of her since.
Yet here she was standing outside my door with a friend. And both of them were pretty tipsy.
She asked if she and her friend could come inside our apartment to change into their costumes. She couldn't change at her aunt's place, she said, because she was sleeping and she didn't want to wake her up. Would we mind if she used our bathroom instead?
It was a pretty strange request. Sure, weird stuff happens on Halloween, but I barely knew her, and it isn't every day that someone shows up at your front door and asks to change into their ladybug costume. But I told her it was fine and she was welcome to use our place to get ready.

Zero doubt that there is drinking inside the offices of Congressmen and Senators. Some of them still smoke in the offices too. I’ve seen it. Who cares if O’Donnell drank at a Halloween party?
It’s pretty ironic that the party of open homosexual, trans-sexual or any other anything goes depravity is the party most shocked by run-of-the-mill heterosexual behavior. Whoa, a woman was seen in close proximity to an arrested development lowlife troll of a “man” who later tries to claim conquest? Only happens millions of times each day.
Where are you seeing polls that indicate that?
You know it’s you “purists” that have screwed this country over by diluting the vote for non viable candidates. Are you one of those purists who felt it would be better if 0bama won to teach the R’s a lesson?

Delaware Election- O’Donnell Surge In Delaware Sets Stage For ANOTHER Upset

Events on the ground in the first state, Delaware, are keeping pace with the nationwide collapse of the Obama coalition, which looks like another Christine O’Donnell upset over the establishment favorite.
While Gallup predicts a tsunami that will overwhelm the Democrats, which will drag down ALL the Democrat candidates, Hillbuzz reports that the internal polling amongst Democrats is trending towards an O’Donnell surge that could outpace the surge that brought her over the top in the primary against Mike Castle in the last week of that contest.
That’s not all. We have seen reliable polling that shows O’Donnell is within single digits, and Coons can’t break 50%. What is more, these polls rely on a turn-out model that is relatively conservative and, contrary to what pundits think, a much higher than normal turn-out could mean the polls are off by as much as 5-6 or more points. In the primary, most polls showed O’Donnell down by a few or tied, however she won by 6 points, a figure higher than most of the pre-vote polls and outside of their margin of error.
I don’t care whether she drank at a party I was simply lamenting how Halloween has been coopted by adults. I just think late 30 year olds dressing up in a halloween costume is silly, look at that other woman running for office she had pics come out about her also.
I don’t think she is a real good candidate ,in fact I just read that she fired her 5th treasurer an hour ago, however I do support her ideology and would support her if I lived in Delaware
What really got me to like O’Donnell and think she was probably ok was how that POS Karl Rove went off on her on Hannity’s show. I figured if Rove was slamming her so vilely, she was probably a good candidate.
Would you be talking about the ones that shamed that Ryan guy into abandoning running for Senate because he went to an adult club with his wife and then when Alan Keyes stepped up, screamed “carpet bagger” and voted for Obama because he was at least a “local” scumbag?
So many other sources are indicating the opposite.

I am glad you reminded all of us how Comrade Obama rose to power. He sleazily got his cronies to open up SEALED divorce records and embarrassed the R candidate out of the race with salacious allegations that Ryan took his hottie wife to a sex club. Kind of the same way he won his state senate seat -- by getting the opposition disqualified.
