What is she doing in Congress? She took an oath; and she failed.
However, you could hear under God very clearly from some of the members.

Yes, she paused to let the Americans who know from where their unalienable rights come say their part.

Please do not berate my former congresswoman I have upgraded now though with Grayson as my representative. (sarc) I will shed no tears when Webster beats him like a drum and wait for the day when Betty leaves which will probably be the next cycle.

The pledge did not have “Under God” in it when I was born...

Yeah, maybe she’s just nostalgic for ‘the good old days’...

Yeah, a pure traditionalist to be sure.

They ask congress to say the pledge? Isn’t that solicitation to commit perjury since many congressmen do not believe the words in other parts of the pledge?
Indivisible? Then why do some seek to divide us by identity group?
with liberty? Then why do most seek to take even more liberty from me?
and justice? or just us?
for all? Then why is congress exempt from so many infringements of liberty and justice they impose on the rest of us?
Better not solicit them to perjury.
