Seriously, though—when did Congressman Charlie Wilson (D, OH-06) stop beating his wife? Moreover, why is the media covering this up?
Two weeks ago, Big Government editor Mike Flynn obtained Belmont County (Ohio) court documents that revealed that Wilson repeatedly beat his wife Clara, to the point where she would be unable to stand.
According to Wilson’s own testimony, he would regularly kick, slap, beat, and punch Clara, accusing her of adultery. Clara’s deposition states that Congressman Wilson punched her with enough force to knock the wind of her, leaving her beaten and bloodied, slumped up against the kitchen cabinet.
To this day, the Ohio news media refuse to report the fact that a Democratic incumbent candidate physically abused his wife brutally over a period of years. As if this wasn’t bad enough, it gets worse: Ohio political “journalists” are actively covering for Congressman Wilson.

One reason is that Big Government destroyed their credibility with the Shirley Shirrod (sp?) debacle. Idiotic decision back then.

The media’s attitude? Nothing to see here. But when Mark Foley made dirty talk with a House page, who was at the age of majority by the way and encouraged the flirting it was a national scandal. But a Dem brutalizing his wife? Eh, big deal according to the media. Move on to obsess about Christine O’Donnell correctly saying there’s no separation of church and state in the constitution and pretend somehow she put her foot in her mouth.
George Allen says “macaca” and it makes front page of the WaPo no less than eight times.

Who is the opponent? Why isn’t this being exposed by the opposition?
