Nonsense Governor Palin has about 19 very successful years in politics, she was one of the leading candidates for veep before she was chosen, there was already a book written by oil industry experts about her record in dealing with big oil, and she had already become America’s most popular Governor, and probably the most popular official in America according to The Weekly Standard in 2007.

Palin challenged the GOP and McCain himself during the 2008 campaign, and she immediately set out to rebuild the conservative movement in November of 2008, after the election, when there was only a shell of a GOP after the Obama Tsunami. Palin resigned her office after 32 months of effective, popular leadership, there was no way that she could bring her leadership nationally, in the face of the most hostile media, Democrat party, and GOP establishment efforts from the remote distances of an Hawaii, or Alaskan governorship.

If you like where we are today, and if you were against Mitt Romney taking over the GOP, and gutting conservatism, if you like it as Palin’s boldness started rubbing off on the Rick Perrys, Jim DeMints, and all these newly bold conservatives that we have seen move increasingly to the right in the last year, then give some thanks for one of the boldest, most effective conservative leaders that we have ever seen.

You are ignorant of who she is, and your snippy little goofy posts show that.

I have no problem with doing her thing and activating the GOP base.

But I can’t support her in the Presidential primaries. Again, I am more into what people “do” versus what they “say” and I think most Freepers feel the same way. Sarah is a “talker” and her past history doesn’t tend to demonstrate that she sticks things out when the going gets tough.

There is a personality red flag out there in someone who attends four colleges in six years and then runs for Governor but quits after two years. Your post indicates that she was facing “hostile” forces and that is why she quit. Frankly, being President means you face the most hostile situations of any job in the Country, so if the situation in Alaska got too tough for her......

I know some of you are not liking my posts, but to be honest some of us on Freep like to inject some contrasting opinions into these Sarah threads. She’s not going to win the Presidency with the votes from Freeps. She’s got to win at least a 60-40 split of the “independents” who all broke Obama’s way in 2008. And that demographic tends to not have a great opinion of her at the moment.
