"Expressing the strongest public reservations about the conservative star made by any senior Republican figure, Mr Rove said it was unlikely that voters would regard someone starring in a reality show as presidential material."

I also remember the Dems raising a stink and getting his old movies off TV during the campaign in 1980.
Rove needs to get on over to MSNBC...
So....Rubio or Christie should cut their 1st term short because Palin isn’t qualified due to cutting her term short
The political class is failing. Look at the state the country is in. Its 80% the ‘rats fault but I’m not excusing the GOP, not by a mile.
Any change that will come is going to come from the bottom up, not the top down. Its like France in the hundred years war. The English had crushed France. The French nobility was ready to give up, ready to sell out the future. Peace at any price. But Joan of Arc, a powerless peasant girl, rose up and roused the PEOPLE of France to unite and cast out the foe.
We must not take one more step backwards! We must go on the offensive and bring a bold, fearless plan for national renewal before the public. We have a better chance of winning big than winning little. This country is bleeding and ready to listen. If things keep getting worse in the next few years they will be DEMANDING a new approach. Both parties haver very little credit left with the public.
SteveAustin appears to be unable to get past the headlines. nmh is a self-confessed âMittwit.â These two anklebitters often appear on Palin posts.
Lol, was that the Tom Cruise episode?
Isn’t this hog about ready for slaughter?
“Isnt this hog about ready for slaughter?”
Metaphorically, of course. He would be too greasy for decent bacon.
Rove is so done, he screwed up the Bush presidency and the republican party, now he is trying to screw up our come back.
“she will have to earn it like anyone else”
Absolutely! Good post.
Rove says “it was unlikely that voters would regard someone starring in a reality show as presidential material”
Has he seen the shows?
Rove says “she lacks the stomach for the rigors of a presidential campain”
Holy cow. ‘Stomach’ is one of her strong suits. She loves to compete. What makes him think she lacks stomach?
Rove says “There are high standards that the American people have for it [the presidency] and they require a certain level of gravitas, and they want to look at the candidate and say ‘that candidate is doing things that gives me confidence that they are up to the most demanding job in the world.
Fine, Rove, but that’s motherhood and apple pie.
The article begins with “[Rove questions] if the American people thought she had the gravitas for the most demanding job in the world.
Rove is judging the American people with that statement, not Palin. Basically, Rove has nothing to say in this article and he knows it, so we are justified to suspect ulterior motives behind these public remarks.
“Looks like Rove is Mitts bitch now. I wonder what he cost.”
Romney: “Shkweeel lahk uh PEEEG!
Rove: weeee! weeeee! WEEEEEE!
So Sarah shouldn't have quit but you'd like to see Christie or Rubio leave after 2 years??...hmmmm
Exactly. :)
Wow, stalwart conservative that you are! /sarc
So anyone dissing Romney and Rove are like the Black Panthers [in your teensy tiny little mind].
That’s a new low, even for a bottom feeder such as yourself.
If he gets a couple hundred thousand letters (not email) that simply says he is “DEAD” to us... maybe he will just go away.
TT
Rover been this way for over a year and a half. With this article we have all of Rover’s talking points in one place.
Rover said the same thing right before Sarah went to Hong Kong.
“I really dont think Fox News should be providing a platform for someone who cant resist his urge to trash candidates he doesnt approve of. He is no longer an analyst (if he ever was), but is some sort of political operative trying to damage Republicans who dont meet his approval.”
Agreed. Think about it. At this point, a Tea Party candidate would get a *more* objective report and analysis from JAMES CARVILLE than from Tokyo Rove, temple catamite of the GOP nomenklatura.
