"Expressing the strongest public reservations about the conservative star made by any senior Republican figure, Mr Rove said it was unlikely that voters would regard someone starring in a reality show as presidential material."

Rove hasn’t gotten much right since 2004 and he barely got that right.
We have a heritage of doing just what you described.
It is time for Citizens to take up the mantle and tell those standing in the way to either get on board or get run over.
Whatever it takes.
It is TIME to DownSize DC!
“I still think Rove has Jeb Bush in mind.”
I am sure you are correct.
It won’t happen though.
Maybe Rover should watch this he learn something.

Governor Christie's FOUR YEAR TERM is not up until January 2014. If he runs for President or Vice President and resigns from his governor job, he too will have served only have a term.
So is a half term by Christie okay with you, but not by Palin?

LOL - what greater Reality Show exists than the US presidency?
Right now it’s called “Anti American Idol”
cancel the magnificent, all that’s left is bastard.
Rove is a large part of the reason that W’s presidency was horrible, and why we have a Marxist in the White House. Bob
Posters are responding to Rove offering their opinion of Rove and his opinion.
How dare them?
Maybe Rove wants Obama in the White House for a second term...might mean more in his bank account. Maybe Karl has a slot on Obama’s blackberry.
Don't flummox the lummox.
Karl Rove, lark over.
LOL.
Brilliant!
Thanks, I should have known there was a lack of integrity in their comments.
Ummm...if Christie or Rubio had to leave two years into their term because they were elected President, it would be because they were elected President.
What did Sarah quit her job for? Support her daughter on Dancing with the Stars?
A person doesn't just get elected president. A person has to prepare to run, and then run, before they get elected. And of course that is what Palin, Christie or Rubio would have to do.
So you think it's more ethical for a person to keep their job as governor while they prepare and then run for president?
I don't

Dude, your comment only says something about you and your awareness of what is going on in front of your nose.
You are only showing your ignorance, by such childish statements.
What I’m doing in this thread is simply pointing out that Palin is our Obama. i.e. a stealth candidate who came out of nowhere, without any significant accomplishments. A creation of the modern media world of the web, cable TV talks shows and Facebook. An engaging personality without much experience behind it.
Now if Palin had hung in there and continued as Alaska Governor, proving she could walk and chew gum at the same time, I might have a different opinion.
I just sincerely feel that a lot of people that post on this board are all about the work ethic, commitment and finishing the job. And that people here are being hypocritical as it relates to her quitting as Governor. We’re rationalizing an action that we ourselves wouldn’t have done. This is why I know I’ve struck a nerve with my comments. Most of us on this board know deep down we wouldn’t have quit the Governorship. But we have to go with the phony narrative that somehow her decision was really a good thing.
