Gee.
Washington at least admitting that she “might” lose. Wow. Such leadership.

Nancy leave the House? She’ll probably leave the country, presumably to a country that doesn’t have extradition with the U.S.

I hope she doesn't quit, I want her assigned to a broom closet with a parking spot 20 miles away.

I just want to see the expression on her face when she hands the gavel over to the new speaker. I’m convinced that video will be the all-time favorite on YouTube.

What really grinds on me is that she will ride off into the sunset on Castro Street to a pension only a few in the private sector can imagine. But after a look at her new office, I really wouldn't blame her for bailing...

I want someone to toss a bucket of water on her, and see if she melts like the Wicked Witch of the West.
That, or go Pete Puma on her with that gavel.

I think she will leave. She simply can’t stand the thought of loosing all the speakers perks and prestige. She will loose those free flight to CA every weekend on a private jet; also, figures she will wind up in the crumiest office space in the house.

“Democrats would have a harder time functioning without Pelosi: They point to her hands-on leadership style and her near-unmatched fundraising ability.”
Hands-on leadership: Knowing how to twist arms, figuratively and probably literally.
Near-unmatched fundraising ability: Willing to take money from (or do business with) anyone, no matter how shady.

Does Pelosi step aside immediately, or does she stick around for a few months as Minority Leader to help smooth the transition to her successor? Well, as a Marxist, she has a role model in North Korea...
Look for Nancy to pick one of her kids to succeed her in the Pelosi business!

While none has suggested any interest in the Minority Leader post, possible contenders could include Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Chris Van Hollen (Md.), Conference Vice Chairman Xavier Becerra (Calif.) or DCCC Vice Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fla.), aides and strategists say. After getting waxed by 60 seats-or-so, why would Van Hollen or Wasserman-Schultz even be considered for the post?
It will be Hoyer. If he keeps his seat...

Once youve been Speaker of the House, why would she just want to be a Member of Congress? What ever happened to wanting to serve one's constituents.
