Tim Profitt, the former Rand Paul volunteer who stepped on the head of a MoveOn.org-affiliated activist outside of a debate on Monday, said he thinks the woman, Lauren Valle, owes him an apology.
"I don't think it's that big of a deal," Profitt said of the incident in an interview with CBS affiliate WKYT. "I would like for her to apologize to me to be honest with you."
Profitt, a Rand Paul supporter who used to serve as a campaign coordinator for the Kentucky Senate hopeful's campaign, was caught on video on Monday stepping on Valle's head after she had been wrestled to the ground. Valle had been trying to offer a satiric award to the candidate.
Profitt later said he was sorry "that it came to that," but he argued to WKYT that Valle was not an innocent bystander. [...]

It's amazing how fast the MSM hops on a story like this.
To say he stepped on her head is a lie. He used his foot on her shoulder to help restrain her.

Conway called a press conference on this today so he can bring the full power of the Attorney General’s Office to bear on this.
Even “panties in a wad” Shep Smith said he STOMPED on her head. But I’ve watched the video and he did no such thing. His foot never contacted her head. It was her shoulder. The media are liars, plain and simple.
Is Valle the only one that can give a satiric award?
She should be honored she got the Head Stomp Award.
Yep. I saw her “after the fact” interview. It was interesting that there were no bruises, no cuts, no blood. Her glasses were not even damaged.
That does not make for interesting TV.
If she were smart, she would have brought some rough sandpaper and cut her face up as though it was crushed against the pavement and then we could have seen her as a helpless bloody mess. I’m sure they’ll learn from this one though. ;)

There was no reason whatsoever for that man to put his foot so forcefully on her as he did. I saw the video and found it very, very disturbing. You can clearly see how much that lady was compressed by the man’s foot.

Megan Kelly had he full video on at about 2:45 e.d.t. this afternoon. The so-called "activist" started the whole thing by shoving a sign into Paul's vehicle, Given how dark it was out, there was every logical reason for the onlookers to believe she might have had a more dangerous weapon and was planning to assassinate him. Just remember the likes of Squeaky Frohm, Sirhan Sirhan, and Junior Hinkley, who tried to murder President Reagan, and the guy who murdered John Lennon. To prevent an atrocity against the public figure, the figure's official and unofficial protectors must take immediate action to remove and neutralize the threat. That's all that happened here.
