Pierce County Councilman Dick Muri, R-Steilacoom, remains locked in a competitive race in his bid to unseat U.S. Rep. Adam Smith, D-Tacoma, according to a new KING 5 poll.

The poll, released by the Seattle television station Tuesday evening, shows Smith leading Muri by just three percentage points, a figure within the poll's four percent margin of error, KING 5 said.

KING 5 reported the race in the 9th Congressional District "is too close to call." The district covers a swath from Thurston County through Steilacoom, Lakewood, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, parts of Tacoma and East Pierce County and into King County,

Smith is running for a seventh term.

Smith is worthless, and his efforts to distance himself from Pelosi and Obama ain't working.

Muri well be an excellent addition to the House.

I don’t think she will. It’s a little late for that, and Palin is in demand in just about every corner of the country. But who knows?

ALl I know is Smith ain’t gonna be asking for Obama’s help.

It’s possible that WA’s House delegation will be majority Republican. Wouldn’t that be something?!

Ever watched Seattle King 5? It’s even close among their Marxist viewers. Tell Patty baby to be afraid, be VERY afraid. Because they have the rest of the uncounted state to contend with.

reported the race in the 9th Congressional District "is too close to call."

Muri better win by at least 5% in order to keep the King County Crooks from stealing it.
