Toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, cloths hanger cardboard tubes, and the biggie...Christmas wrapping paper rolls.
Throw in endless rolls of black electrical tape (father was an electrician)...
All elements of some very creative projects when I was a kid.

I'm drawing a blank here. Just exactly what can you do with a used toilet paper tube? Why save them?Well, you can use them to store cords and extension cords. And, well, I guess that's all. They make good kindling for the fireplace if you have enough of them. I figure a summer's worth would be good for starting the first winter fire.
Otherwise, they're completely biodegradable and introduce no toxins into the earth. So what's the beef?

OK. Uses for used toilet paper tubes:
- Forms for reinforced concrete chair legs.
- Kitty cat "walk-like-Frankenstein" kit (one tube per front leg)
- Sawed-off large bore blow gun.
- Omni-directional funnel. It works the same no matter which end is up.
