Trees are the Ultimate in renewable resources. Cut them down, plant more and they grow right back

IT’S AMAZING...

How is not using wood/paper “Green”?

Maybe we should save them up and ship them to San Francisco.

In commercial settings, this sort of thing has been going on for a while now. It’s just a short hop, skip, and a jump to domestic settings.

Toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, cloths hanger cardboard tubes, and the biggie...Christmas wrapping paper rolls.

Throw in endless rolls of black electrical tape (father was an electrician)...

All elements of some very creative projects when I was a kid.

Yep - the kids can make all kinds of cool stuff. My son made a ping pong ball shooter the other day out of two TP rolls

You can tell by the number of comments here that a lot of us have "recycled" toilet paper tubes. They don't go to waste.

No more Kitty toys? What are they thinking?

That was my reaction too. Our puppies loved playing with the paper towel and TP tubes.

The word “efficiency” has never been in the enviro lexicon. If it had been, paper recycling would never have been proposed, much less subsidized. But, as I originally pointed out, this is all for show.

Tubeless TP rolls aren’t worth a sh**!

How will you get them on the spindle?

I'm drawing a blank here. Just exactly what can you do with a used toilet paper tube? Why save them?

Well, you can use them to store cords and extension cords. And, well, I guess that's all. They make good kindling for the fireplace if you have enough of them. I figure a summer's worth would be good for starting the first winter fire.

Otherwise, they're completely biodegradable and introduce no toxins into the earth. So what's the beef?

I only buy the generic brands anyway. Why pay extra for Scott?

I let my backside choose the brand. Although, people do look at me rather strangely when that decision is being made.

Does it speak to you and tell you which brand or do you point it at the brands and it just nods?

My attorney has advised me that I should refrain from discussing the details of my TP testing procedure until after the trial. :-)
