Be careful how much you hit it, my friend.
Add scumbags like Brett Favre to that list.
Equal opportunity sluthood.
There’s a big park across the street from my house, I see it all the time, girls as young as 11-13, that I refer to as sluts in training, hanging around with and hugging and kissing boys who are maybe 15-18.
My own g/daughter who just turned 12 is not allowed to hang around with those girls, nor does she even want to. She knows right from wrong.
Without even mentioning Hollywood or the celebrity culture, many of these young girls role models are often mothers or aunts ....30 or 40 somethings who get tramp stamps, go out trolling for men half their age like the so called ‘cougar’ fad and dress in clothes that would make Lady Ga Ga blush.
It all comes down to parenting.
I sort of half heard something on TV last night that I hope was my imagination but fear that it wasn’t.
One of the few pure fantasy shows I watch is Sons of Anarchy. On the show, a porn actress went in for an abortion using the name Sarah Palin.
I’m usually not terribly sensitive to that sort of thing because I’m an adult watching a show that’s obviously for adults but that was a pathetic attack on Sarah Palin for no reason than pure hatred.
Does that mean, in the eyes of these feminists, that men who sleep around, using women as mere vents for their sexual frustrations, are only "embracing their sexuality"?
And they have the nerve to say conservatives have "double standards".
So women can empower themselves by destroying their lives and letting neanderthal mean use them like a disposable sex toy?
Feminists are idiots.
This is the third time in a couple of days that I’ve read the title as “Brazilian Slut Culture.”
My daughters appear to be staying far away from this for now. Keeping a close eye on them though. One thing I’m trying to do is develop a sense of strong self-confidence in them. They shouldn’t find the need to sleep around to be popular.
Just look at the reality shows! I’ve blocked entire channels and numerous shows on others to keep it out of my house. Unfortunately my oldest daughter (she’s 24 with 3 kids by 3 different guys who are all deadbeats) is drawn to this garbage. For some insane reason she “needs” to see a lot of drama and is attracted to it in her own life.
About a year ago I heard an actor (name escapes me) on Dennis Miller radio show that came of age in the 60s in Hollywood. Promiscuity was the name of the game. The most interesting thing he discussed is how the guys were so interested in helping women get legal abortions then. He said it was sold in such a way, Tom Sawyer like, that women needed to have the right to legal abortions because they should have a say over their own bodies. He said in fact it was a male thing just to make it easier for them not to have any responsibility for their own sexual activity. The women fell for it and the rest is history. The women, nee feminists, got punked.
The ‘60’s are back!
{cough!} Ping!
