Yes, I did. I believe its open to interpretation whether there is a "White House Insider" or not. Conceivably, the whole thing is a fabrication. But, conceivably, it's not.
In any event, are the reports and conclusions a revelation to us? I'd say no. Perhaps, it's just BS re-affirming what we already suspect. Perhaps, it's a total fabrication.
But, in either event, does that deny or alter what we already suspect? No. Not really.
This is a White House in very inexperienced, largely incompentent and likely perilous hands. And the staff around him does appear to be abandoning ship. And Hillary does, indeed, lurk in the background.
We don't need "White House Insider" to tell us any of this.
Makes for a good read, though...
I agree that these are interesting reads. (I read much more than 1 or 2:>) You are right that it probably doesn’t matter if it’s a construct or direct observation.
I think what is most disturbing is that much of it rings true, particularly the part about his giggling distraction during a meeting about Afghanistan. It fits perfectly with other information we have gleaned through Rolling Stone and such. There have been a number of truly disturbing events that support this idea of serious dysfunction in the White House, not the least of which are
1) the repeated use of the stupid car metaphor which reveals a complete tin ear and a drifting away from his vaunted rhetorical skills
2) the rumored use of a teleprompter even in private meetings with 6 people present
3) the aggressive and vile posture toward those he perceives as enemies, like, half the country or more
4) the race baiting
5) the reference the other day to Republicans riding in the back seat, a clear allusion to racial animus in this country years ago. It was payback, imho.
6) repeated references to violent acts to get what he wants, like bringing a gun to a fight, toward citizens of this country.
7) the odd mannerisms he’s developing, like the southern drawl, the dropping of the final consonants, the “hoody” beleagured hoarse diction that he’s adopted
8) the absolute obsession with appearing on as many venues as possible and the seemingly never ending need for narcissistic adoration. He doesn’t seem to be hiding the messiah complex anymore. He’s nurturing it.
Just sayin.’ Somethin’ bad goin’ on there.
