According to Lexington police Lt. Edward Hart, Valle had a sign that read “Republicorp: Employee of the Month”. She was running up to Paul in an attempt to get a photo of herself behind him with the sign.
Reports say Valle was a contract employee of MoveOn.org and had attended several Rand Paul events with the same goal of showing the sign in a picture with him. Valle was wearing a wig at the time of the attempted attack.
Sent to Kentucky from Pennsylvania by MoveOn.org, Paul supporters stopped the woman before she was able to reach him with a true hillbilly beat down.
It is unclear if Paul or his organization are going to pursue stalking or attempted assault charges at this time. Valle could not beat reached about plans for her future visits to Kentucky.
