But remember....all the noble experiment of Prohibition did was increase alcoholism and greatly expand the power of Organized Crime. It was responsible for turning a rag-tag bunch of criminals into a Fortune 500 company, or as Meyer Lansky so eloquently put it,
"We're bigger than U.S. Steel"
