This is the key oparagraph from the article:

“She and others called the I-Team when they noticed the return address is not their local election official but instead a PO box for the organization.

IDCC officials claim they are entering ballot request information into their own database before sending the mailings on to election authorities who then mail voters the ballot.”

No matter how you slice it, that’s an avenue for voter fraud.

404,000 ballots worth of Voter Fraud!!

What’s to prevent this group from tucking in 1,000’s of fraudulent requests for ballots, then filling them out and sending them in.

I’m not so concerned about fraud in House races because the GOP is going to win by a comfortable margin. But I am concerned about crap going on in the Senate and Governor races. Democrats could throw this nation into chaos if they go that route.

“ballot request information”

This means that the organization is collecting peoples REQUESTS to be sent an absentee ballot. The ballot itself will be sent directly from the registrar of voters to the voter’s home address. The voter will then return the ballot directly to the election officials. This is standard GOTV stuff, with just the aim of getting people who would not vote at the polls to vote absentee. The absentee ballot doesn’t say what the requester’s party is, much less how the person intends to vote. The complaint in the article is simply that this organization has waited too late, and hasn’t left enough time for the people’s absentee votes to be returned in time to be counted.

The only way this would be targeted voting disenfranchisement is if the organization was using a voter registration list that showed party affiliation. In that case, they could roundfile GOP voter requests or delay them with the intent to make sure those ballots are too late to count.
