How To Decide in Less Than A Minute on How to Vote on Proposition 19
For those of you in a hurry, here is a quick question to ask yourself. Do you want marijuana smoke in your house or apartment?
If the answer is "no", then VOTE NO on Proposition 19. It's as simple as that. Proposition 19 strips away your rights to stop marijuana smoke from entering your home.
Things I Found Out About Proposition 19
Proposition 19 has no protections for the public from exposure airborne marijuana, either vaporized or burned. There isn't a word in there about this. A vote for Proposition 19 is a vote to strip yourself of your right not to be exposed to marijuana smoke. You can't just call the police when you are smoked out.
Proposition 19 creates a new protected class of people in California, marijuana users. It has anti-discrimination language with protections similar to those you might find for disabled people. It's amazing what's in Proposition 19.
Proposition 19 has fewer controls on usage than even alcohol. For instance, California law prohibits open containers of alcohol in a moving vehicle, and consumption by anyone in the vehicle. Not so with marijuana and Proposition 19. Marijuana can be present in the passenger compartment, and passengers can consume marijuana on the road. There is not even a limitation on smoking it with the windows closed, so the driver ends up with a "contact high".
Proposition 19 will make California companies ineligible, and in violation of Federal contract requirements for a Drug Free workplace. Thousands of Californians who are employed under Federal contracts would have to move or be let go.

Latest polls show Prop 19 losing support.
A perfect example of “when perverts rule......”.
If somehow the smoke gets from one unit into another then the landlord must fix it so that this is not the case. If smoke is getting from one unit into another that is a building defect that needs to be remedied.
I do not smoke anything myself, but I believe that if a person is paying rent then he/she should be able to smoke in the privacy of his/her own home.
Screw the weenies who go into asthmatic fits every time they get a minor whiff of smoke.
Just like the idiots that go into shock at the mere smell of peanuts.
Those whom drafted this initiative were stoned out of their gourds.
Pot prohibition is FEDERAL law and not subject to state initiatives to overturn it.
Of course if it passes, we’re quite used to the courts invalidating our expressed will.
Let’s see:
I don’t smoke marijuana.
I don’t smoke in my house.
I don’t drink in my house.
Yeah, got it.
Bring back prohibition.
Thanks Carrie Nation.

Thanks. I have asthma that is triggered by smoke. Those that smoke can do so just about any time and place as long as I am not subjected to their pollution. Common sense must prevail. You don’t have the right to yell “fire” in a crowded building, so what gives someone the right to cause harm to another human with smoke or peanuts. What you don’t seem to get is that they did not choose to have asthma or a peanut allergy. I am sure that they would opt out of either condition given the opportunity.
This is exactly the reason why we should all vote Yes on 19.
If Prop 19 passes then it will be Federal Hippies vs. State Hippies.
Also it will be the first time that a liberal proposition will be invalidated by the courts.
Why do we all have to be so reasonable all the time and do the boring thing and vote for the safe bet. We can be absolutely certain that Prop 19 will not stick. Why not throw a monkeywrench into the liberal machinery for once?
Please Vote Yes on Prop 19 to give liberals a taste of their own hypocrisy.
´Oh, the Feds, eh? Yeah, well ya´ can´t push me around, see? I got my rights, see? Ya´ dirty....´
Great website. Thanks for posting. Very informative. I hope people share this website with your friends and family. People should be informed before voting. Frank Pastori is talking about this issue right now on KKLA 99.5FM.
