Those Section 8 living accommodations come at quite a price, not only to your home value, but in the rent taxpayers have to come up with. My son used to live in apartments where he paid about $700 a month for a batchelor’s pad, while the welfare mommas, complete with half a dozen kids, cellphones, new cars, bling, cablevision, and boyfriend du jour, pay $25 per month. We taxpayers must make up the difference. I'm with you, I think it's environmental and economic injustice for me to have that crowd plopped down near my home and to have to pay for it on top of that.
