If an Iraqi dies for any reason IBC will add that death to the body count. They go by numbers of dead in hospitals and morgues and cause of death is never considered.

You can sit there and imagine these geeky guys...sitting around and reading intelligence messages written by E-2’s or 2Lt’s...and trying to grasp what they meant by “movement”, “causalities”, or “estimates”. Then you take into consideration that the geeky guys never took any social science classes in college...and the worst threat they ever faced was a MAC hard drive that failed on a Sunday night before exams.

Note, nothing is said about how these people died. But IBC does not care, it's dead Iraqis and padding their numbers is their obvious goal.

I wonder if there was any consideration of the thousands of mussies that came from other countries? They were getting killed at the cyclic rate, like cannon fodder, with no one to claim their corpses.
