Don't know if excerpts are required for this paper, but the DNT endorsing a Republican against Jimmy Bikeshorts is rather stunning.

The traitors that put together the plot to put the Dictator in Chief or Radical In Chief in office must be exposed and tried and sentenced for their fraud against the American people.

Absolutely shocking given Minnesota’s politics. That’s great!
(We are from Minn. but moved a couple of years ago so we are well versed in how liberal it is)

Wow, this is big news! From Stupak in the UP to Obey in NW Wisconsin, to Jimmy Bikeshorts(lol) in Northern Minnesota, the Rats have had a stranglehold on this geographic area. It is interesting to see the fiscally conservative, working class folks from these areas who are usually loyal Dem votes have realized the Democrat Party of their parents has been taken over by the radical socialists from the East and West coasts. The people in fly over country will have their voices heard in another 9 days.

Hotair radio was reporting that Dems started to talk about how this paper is not a leftwing rag (which it is usually) a few days ago which they saw as a signed they were leading to endorsing the republcian....

I have never been up to that area of Minnesota but I understand that culturally it is a lot like West Virginia. Maybe it is undergoing the same metamorphosis.

Maybe the newspaper got hip that businesses who advertise going out of business was bad for the paper. My guess is more Dems and Obama will probably also finish off the paper.

Possibly, but I’m betting Dick Bong wasn’t one of them. :)

Close, but not quite. I sensed a Cravaack endorsement was pending when the paper endorsed all but one DFL candidate for other offices.

Do you post this on every thread?
To: Colonel_Flagg
Wow! When is the last time Duluth had a Republican congressman? Duluth used to be the most communist-friendly city in the US (back in the 1930’s).

Praise the Lord! You guys deserve a break! The fact that a northern Minnesota paper would endorse a Republican just shows you how the tide is turning! May the momentum keep going till the election. I have already early-voted here, and it felt GOOD!
....and you’re NOT old! LOL!

Duluth going republican means only one thing.
A dimocrat has no place to hide!
What's really funny is Obama stumping in Minnesota!
Next we will see Michelle turning on him.
November may be better than expected.
