That mayonnaise based BBQ sauce from down in Alabama is about as indecent as it gets.
It looks disgusting but really doesn't taste all that bad, lol.
But then again, I'm something of a barbecue agnostic. I love eastern NC, I love western NC almost as much, and I'm even fond of the odd transitional styles you find sometimes in between, like around Burlington. They have a hybrid coleslaw/red barbecue slaw that's actually pink. Again, disgusting to look at but tastes pretty good.
Now, South Carolina mustard mush, you can just forget that mess. Gotta draw the line somewhere and that's where I draw mine.
