Clinton apologized for his “slips of the tongue.” Sort of, anyway.
We’ve got the rope and the guns.
We are not ready for any kind of violent gummint overthrow.
Yet.
What should women do?
Women are innocent in all this? Where is the plea for women to stand up? Are their any females of that caliber left? What a pantload!
I did.
But, I had to sit down again to type this response...
There was a line of like 47 interns outside the Oval Office waiting to “meet” with Clinton.
I never heard that there were any MEN in that line...
What exactly is "the topic?" Pornography? You sound passionate about something but I'm not clear what that something is.
How many years ago was that? Why not concentrate on the current overthrow of our once Free America by this illegal alien Marxist idiot?
As I recall from the 90s, Clinton always did appreciably better among women during elections. That’s when they coined the phrase “angry white male” after all.
The women are the current warriors in this fight; a burden God never intended for us to carry.
At the very least,we must unite our hearts in prayer against this assault on decency.
On a practical level we must model modesty and grace in our dress and behavior, especially our speech. We must shun the near pornographic content of today’s television programs, movies, and literature.
It is to the everlasting shame of the teachers of America, many of them women, that we must also take a stand for wholesome instruction in the classroom.
Being married to Hillary is punishment enough.
Why pollute your most excellent essay with a vulgarity?
Unfortunately too many women have ‘gone along to get along’ imho.
I believe only 15% of ALL people are “leaders” anyway—85% are followers—’leaders’ are those brave enough to drive forward with deep conviction, come what may...and since females are the nest builders they have much at risk, a lot at stake in driving forward the unpopular crusade.
The males must stop self-medicating with the feel-good fix of bad habits, procrastination and cynicism— and step forward.
There is another type of female nowadays—well, there are many types, please excuse my inexcusable indexing— but a high profile type that much influences young girls—they are the misguided and shrill women trying to act ‘as men’..including destructive, promiscuous behaviors that undermine their happiness.
We need a return to the basics.
We are a complementary system of male and female—not parallel in all attributes but 100% equal in our complementary value—we must recognize this, it is the key.
Males should never devalue females ( as intrinsic co-partners to the human experience) because they are feminine and not hard-charging, man-like money machines.
Females got the message for thousands of years, that human value is only linked to societal, commerce and power-driven dynamics. To ensure their value, they were forced to become more man-like.
We see females abused in every culture across the globe where they have not worked to attach monetary or power value to themselves. They have been marginalized, disposed of, exploited. Devalued.
American women were given the leverage to help themselves ( **And this is a true historical and spiritual marvel that western, Christian males extended to females and this should be heralded**). But it has swung too radically and we see the great unraveling.
As women have gained economic power and independence, vile, degrading and hateful pornography slamming the very essence and certainly intent on destroying dignity of the feminine, has exploded.
Is there a realtionship?
I venture yes.
This, I believe is where much of our problem lies.
We MUST appreciate that which is of both genders, equally.
Honor the male, honor the female. EQUALLY. Understand the complemenatry design. We cannot exist without the other. BUT we are DIFFERENT. And this is the BEAUTY.
Jesus told us this in spades.
We must wake up.
I can tell you this, Bill Clinton was elected due to the women who voted for him. Clinton received the majority of the women vote, most of whom found him "handsome" and "charming". Even before the Monica Lewinsky incident, we knew of Bill Clinton's propensity for harassing and sexually abusing women. Gennifer Flowers and Paula Jones were two earlier victims who came forward. But these women were branded "tramps" and "gold diggers" by the very women who should have stood up to support them. The National Organization for Women, an organization that purports to advance the cause of women was not only silent on the matter, but they actively supported Bill Clinton 100% and even actively worked to tarnish and destroy the reputations of Bill Clinton's accusers.
Bill Clinton is not the only example in which the majority of women will throw their fellow women to the wolves in exchange for a male politician that supports their political agenda, yet treats women like dirt and like sexual objects. The Kennedys (all of them) come to mind. Need I go on?
With all due respect, the problem is with the women. If not for the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution, none of these clowns would have been elected to public office.
By the way, I'm not advocating the repeal of the 19th Amendment, however many of our women do cast their votes shallowly. They put way too much emphasis on a candidate's good looks and charisma and once they find candidates who fit that bill, they become blinded to the candidate's moral failings as a person and will attack others who attempt to bring those failings into question.
I realize I am being general here and that many women out there do not get taken in by these snake-oil charmers, but any detailed analysis of election results will clearly show that the Bill Clintons and Ted Kennedys of the world were elected on the strength of the women vote and the male voters were unable to overcome the advantage that the women voters gave them.
Ironically, should Sarah Palin be nominated in 2012, it is going to be up to the men to elect her, as many women are already against her out of petty jealousy. If the Democrats have a charismatic, womanizing male candidate, it's going to be tough for the men to tilt the balance the other way (but we'll give it our best shot).
No it’s not bad, you display your head in the sand crap by avoiding the question.
